This thing is really heavy–but very sturdy. Assembly instructions were good and it looks nice. The description says it fits a 42″ flat screen, but my 46″ Samsung fits on it with room to spare.

This is a solid and reasonably well-made piece of assemble-it-yourself furniture. The box was *heavy*; I live on the third floor, and for a while it looked like my delivery man wouldn’t be able to get it up to me. If you’re going to be moving yourself at any point in the near future, you might think twice. On the upside, it’s heavy because it’s sturdy.
The closed back style makes it a bit tricky to hook your componants up to each other and the tv, but also does a better job at hiding the cords in the darkness than our old open-back cart did. The bevelled glass door sometimes gets in the way of a remote signal, or makes the display on the lower shelf’s componant hard to read, but you could easily remove it if that was an issue for you.
Overall, I’m pleased with how it looks and functions, I just wish it weren’t so heavy.
